Placing an order now is considered as placing a pre-order which will be delivered in April. Note that if you combine other items with this product in your order that the full order won't be shipped until April.

This initial batch of Tanmatsu™ devices is targeted at developers only.
While the hardware is ready for use the firmware is still a work in progress, expect bugs.

Tanmatsu™ is the dream terminal device for hackers, makers, and tech enthousiasts. Based around the powerful ESP32-P4 microcontroller, this device provides an accessible way to make, hack, and tinker on the go.

Tanmatsu™ lets you program on the go and communicate over long distances using LoRa whilst also providing advanced connectivity and extendability options for hardware hacking and development.

LoRa module

Choose a band (433MHz or 868/915MHz) based on your region. Meshtastic users can find the applicable frequency range on the Meshtastic website. LoRaWAN users can find the applicable frequency on the website of their network provider, for example the frequencies used by The Things Network can be found here. In the Netherlands he 868MHz band is used by most users of Meshtastic and by The Things Network.

An antenna is included. If you choose the IPEX variant we will include a PCB antenna glued into the 3D printed case. For the best range and most flexibility the SMA option can be chosen, in which case the antenna will be externally mounted. For the SMA option we will include a simple SMA antenna, for best results a more advanced antenna can be connected.
